Jeanine Levy is an AEA actor based in South Florida. She graduated from the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts with a concentration in theatre and went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from one of the nation’s top-ranked programs—Florida State University—on both academic and talent scholarships. While at FSU, she studied intensively under Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Jane Alexander (most recently on Broadway in Grand Horizons), who praised her as an actor who "can reach deep emotional heights easily."

Jeanine has appeared in numerous regional and Off-Broadway productions, performing with companies such as Cherry Lane Theatre, Hudson Shakespeare Company, Mill Mountain Theatre Company, Curran Repertory Theatre, Impact Theatre, Depot Theatre, and the prestigious Williamstown Theatre Festival. While living and working in New York City, she was also represented by UGLY Talent Agency for print and commercial work. She has participated in many staged readings and developmental workshops of new works, collaborating with playwrights and directors in the early stages of bringing fresh stories to life—a process she finds both creatively invigorating and essential to the evolution of theatre.

Committed to arts education, Jeanine went on to earn her Master of Science in Education from City College of New York with a focus in Educational Theatre under Jennifer Katona ( current president of EDTA). She completed additional training with the Lincoln Center Institute and the Creative Arts Team, and served as a teaching assistant to Sandy Faison (the original Grace in Annie), who was then Dean of Theatre at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts (the "Fame" School). Jeanine was featured in a four-page spread in Dramatics magazine (December 2014) titled "Your Best Shot." She later spent five years teaching at G-Star School of the Arts and continues her work as a teaching artist through private coaching and partnerships with organizations  the Kravis Center, and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

After relocating back to South Florida, Jeanine returned to the stage with renewed energy, performing in musicals and plays at companies including The Wick Theatre, Theatre Lab, Evening Star Productions, Island City Stage, Thinking Cap Theatre, City Theatre, West Boca Theatre Company, Palm Beach Dramaworks, and Slow Burn Theatre Company. Though she identifies primarily as a "straight actor," she frequently lends her vocal talents to musical theatre and continues voice training with acclaimed vocal coach Aaron Hagan. She was nominated for a Carbonell Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical in 2018, as well as  nominated for a Carbonell Award for Best Actress in a Play in 2021 for her work in Tennesee William's work Suddenly Last Summer.

Jeanine is represented by Talent Direct Agency for television, film, and commercial work. She is married to Joe Levy, a non-theatre professional, and is the proud mother of almost three-year-old twins, Avalyn and Nolan. She also shares her home with two cats—Gatsby and Daisy—and a lovable dog, Jax. A self-proclaimed hot cheese enthusiast, Jeanine is passionate about theatre that challenges us to think, reflect on our shared humanity, and examine our responsibilities to each other and the world.

to each other and the world.
